COMIC: The Lesser-Documented Guests at the Bezos/Sanchez Wedding
It was only like, 50% Kardashians.
If you’re much more enlightening than me and therefore not painfully online, you may have missed the fact that Jeff Bezos recently married his affair partner, Lauren Sanchez, at a wedding that allegedly cost £30m or some other number that my tiny peasant brain cannot comprehend. Anyway, the consensus has been that the most offensive thing about the event was not so much that it was an egregious display of wealth in a time in which most people are struggling to meet their very basic needs, but the fact that despite being so expensive, it looked so very cheap. I am not an arbiter of taste, but I do think it’s incredible how so much money and a Vogue spread can nevertheless look like a feature in Hello! magazine.
There has also been a whole lot of discourse about the guestlist (which was around 200 people, almost all of whom appear to be A-list celebrities that neither host seems to have ever interacted with). Here’s some of those celebs that you may have missed the pap shots of.
